Project Description:
The Buena Park Sewer Improvements Project rehabilitates the regional sewer pipelines and manholes in the City of Buena Park, with a small portion of work extending into the City of La Palma. The project rehabilitates just under a mile of pipeline and over 40 manholes. In addition, the project constructs new manholes and makes other improvements to the sewer system.
The work takes place in sections of Beach Boulevard, Kingman Avenue, Artesia Boulevard, Knott Avenue, Caballero Boulevard, and Valley View Street.
Schedule:
Construction is anticipated to occur 2026-2028.

Project Background
Originally constructed under various projects between 1959 and 1998, recent pipeline and manhole inspections show areas with cracks and deterioration. This project will make repairs and updates to the pipeline and manholes to extend their life to continue providing reliable sewer service for the community.
